Morristown, NJ– The Alliance of Private Special Education Schools of Northern New Jersey is proud to announce this year’s Annual Conference and Resource Fair. Hosted in collaboration with the College of Saint Elizabeth and the Regional Family Support Planning Council, this year’s conference is themed ‘Parents Empowered.’ The event will give parents and educators the tools they need to be informed, engaged, and empowered to secure the best outcomes for students and adults with disabilities.

This free event will feature Assemblywoman Mila Jasey as the keynote speaker, who has served in the New Jersey General Assembly for more than ten years, chairing several committees including the Higher Education Committee, The Housing and Community Development Committee, the Education Committee and the Joint Committee on Public Schools. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.

In addition to the keynote speaker, attendees will hear two panel discussions that will take place with disability community leaders focusing on advocacy, services and needed change. Throughout the event, guests can take part in the Resource Fair, which includes more than 50 state-approved schools for students with disabilities and other vendors and providers who offer integral support and services to those with disabilities.
