FamilyFest will take place the same day as Montclair Center’s Oktoberfest, which is on Lackawanna Plaza from 12-8 pm.  In the event of inclement weather, both events will be held on the following day, Sunday, Sept. 23.

FamilyFest is organized by the Montclair Center BID, L3 Academy and the family- and child-focused merchants of Montclair Center.  Additional activities include face painting, music, and handcrafted items for sale.

Sponsorship for FamilyFest has been provided by L3 Academy, MLC Learning Center, NJPAC, American Camp Association and MLC Stem Learning Center.

Representing the over 300 merchants and over 200 property owners in downtown Montclair, the Montclair Center BID is directly responsible for the music performances, beautification projects including plants and decorations, banners, way-finding signage and maintenance throughout the district.  By encouraging dynamic collaboration, the Montclair Center BID also creates exciting events for shoppers and tourists, marketing opportunities for retailers and restaurateurs, and actively seeks to improve the area for businesses and residents.
