Freeholder Gill and Bloomfield Leaders to open Bloomfield Bike Depot Friday

BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield Mayor Michael Venezia, Essex County Freeholder Brendan Gill and the New Jersey Bike and Walk Coalition will officially open the Garden State's second Bike Depot on Friday March 24 at 3:30 p.m. The first Bike Depot was opened in Montclair.

The bike depot will be located in the Glenwood Avenue Parking Garage, 23 Lackawanna Place, Bloomfield NJ. It is close to New Jersey Transit Trains as well as Bloomfield's Restaurant Row in the heart of Bloomfield Center.

The Bike Depot will offer weather-protected and secure storage for bikes, helmets and personal items for a small membership fee.

The facility will be operated jointly by the Bloomfield Parking Authority and the Bike and Walk Coalition.
