MONTCLAIR, N.J - To mark our one year Anniversary and send us off into our second season, Gelotti of Montclair will be offering $2 junior and small size cups or ice cream, gelato, or italian ice all day on February 19th!

Gelotti Ice Cream was founded in 1984 by Sal Sigona at the site of the old Totowa Dairy Farm on Union Avenue in Paterson. Gelotti has been long touted as one of the best homemade ice creams in NJ being recognized by CBS NY, The NY Times, The Bergen Record, Best of Essex, Emperor of Ice Cream, and more.

In 2001 Gelotti opened their first Essex County location on Bloomfield Ave in Caldwell NJ, at the site of the first Baskin and Robbins Ice Cream to be on the East Coast. The Caldwell store has been recognized many times and been a medal recipient of the "Best of Essex" aware by Suburban Essex Magazine.

In addition both Gelotti locations have been featured on Housewives of NJ, and more recently served as a campaign stop for Senator Cory Booker where he purchased Ice Cream for everyone who came to his rally.

Gelotti of Montclair was opened on February 19th 2016, the day of owner Mike Guerriero's 25th birthday. Guerriero worked at the original Gelotti location in Paterson NJ for over 9 years and helped contribute to its success of the last 3rd of its life span.

In 2014 with the blessing of the Sigona Family, Guerriero left Gelotti Paterson and took over the Caldwell location they once opened.
