MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair-based nonprofit organization HOMECorp has launched a new campaign to provide affordable townhomes in Montclair for six families.
Entitled 'A Home Changes Everything,' the goal is to raise $25,000 for this project that will help police officers, firefighters and teachers achieve the American dream of becoming first-time homeowners. Thus far, HOMECorp has raised less than half of the intended goal and is asking for community support. For more information on donating to this project, visit http://www.homecorp.causevox.com/.
An ecumenical, community-based non-profit organization formed in 1988 by concerned residents and religious institutions, HOMECorp's goal is to improve and develop permanent affordable housing in Montclair.
Michelle Kroeze, executive director of Salvation Army Montclair Citadel, said, "HOMECorp has provided a very significant resource in this community of affordable housing."
Feel free to watch the video below to see how this project can transform the lives of both the homebuyers and the people who work and live in the Montclair community.
