HOMECorp Names Julie Cerf Interim Executive Director


HOMECorp is proud to announce the appointment of Julie Micou Cerf as Interim Executive Director.   Cerf comes to HOMECorp with a wealth of knowledge and extensive background in nonprofit management.  Ms. Cerf has worked for the Schumann Fund for New Jersey, Victoria Foundation, Human Rights First, and the Kaplan Educational Foundation and as a strategic and fundraising consultant to nonprofits. 

Three years ago Ms. Cerf began specializing in transition leadership, a practice that helps strengthen nonprofits as they search for permanent executive directors.  In this capacity she has served as Interim Executive Director at The Jubilee Center in Hoboken and Read Ahead, Inc., in New York City.

“I am delighted to join HOMECorp at this important time in the agency’s history,” says Ms. Cerf.”  “HOMECorp has a very strong track record of creating and maintaining affordable housing in Montclair.  I love the mission and look forward to maintaining strong performance as HOMECorp searches for a permanent new leader”.

Cerf has resided in Montclair for 29 years and has deep ties to the Montclair community.  From 1991 to 2003, she was a founding board member and President of the Montclair Fund for Educational Excellence.
