HOMECorp is pleased to announce it has received a $8,500 grant from The Montclair Foundation of Montclair, NJ. These funds will support HOMECorp’s Montclair Healthy Housing Initiative.
The purpose of the Montclair Healthy Housing Initiative is to 1) preserve and make improvements to our affordable housing stock by focusing on improving energy efficiency and hazards removal, and 2) educate the broader Montclair community about home health hazards. The funds will be used to provide various components in our buildings such as grab bars in tenant’s bathrooms, more efficient toilets, accessible faucets, and extra storage space.
“This grant award will help us continue to ensure that our clients are living in housing units that are environmentally safe. We are grateful to The Montclair Foundation for their generosity and their support of affordable housing initiatives in Montclair” stated Julie Micou Cerf, HOMECorp’s Interim Executive Director.
