The first original remake of  "Get Up Offa That Thang" is currently on the first round ballot of this year's GRAMMYs in 3 categories: Best R&B Performance; Best Arrangement, Instruments, and Vocals; and Record of the Year.

"This is a labor of love and we hope that people will support the album and that we will bring home a Grammy in Mr. Brown's honor," said Ryan.

Ryan says that Kelly is a new solo artist, formerly of Holywood Record's boy pop group "Forever In Your Mind" and an actor on the Emmy Nominated Netflix TV Show "Alexa and Katie".

He added that the JB JAMP Band is created by the youth of the James Brown Academy of Musik, where students range from 5 years to 17 years of age. The music academy was founded by Deanna.

The 62nd annual GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Nominations for the awards are usually announced in December.

Ryan is a veteran in the music business, having earned his way through music as a recording and performing artist signed to Wright Stuff Management through the 90’s and 2000’s sharing the stage with artists such as Eminem, Mary J Blige, Mandy Moore, Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Pink and many others of that time.

He later teamed up with long time friend and writing partner Cooper Anderson to found Grammy Award winning music production company, Pop Rocks Records.

Credited for additional production to song of the year “We Are Young” by the world renown band, Fun. The Diamond credited duo works in each of their own studios. Together, they have earned platinum and gold album plaques for works on Gold Digger by Kanye West and Once Again by E.G.O.T. member John Legend.

In recent years Ryan has founded Sound Entertainment and releases his new music through Jeremy Ryan Music Publishing.

Ryan says that he attends the Grammys annually and holds Grammy Membership to vote for new Grammy nominees.

Deadline is October 10 to vote. So Ryan says that he hopes to have support for the project.
