Java Love Coffee Roasting Co., Upper Montclair’s coffee hot spot, is opening their much anticipated second location at 49 Church Street in Montclair Center. Java Love will swing open their doors on Monday March 14, 2016, with their Grand Opening celebration on Friday April 1, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm.

Java Love has been voted Montclair’s Best Coffee shop since they opened their doors in 2013, and is excited to “Share the Love”, as owners Jodie Dawson and Kristine Petrik like to say. While their micro-roasted coffee cannot be beat for its freshness and flavor, “It’s our team of baristas who are at the core of what has become known as the distinctive Java Love vibe.”

That “vibe” also has to do with Java Love’s unique and distinctive design, so Dawson and Petrik gathered the same team of designers and artists to create the Church St. location. From the reclaimed shipping pallets and coffee bags used to create the banquette seating to the reclaimed wood from the Catskills used for shelving, chalkboard frames and the one-of-a-kind wall art; there is no doubt Java Love Church St. will become the next iconic hangout in Montclair Center.

Java Love Coffee Roasting Co., is a woman owned, artisan coffee roasting company created out of personal mission and passion: the mission for quality coffee done right and the passion to create & connect with our communities. Java Love’s flagship shop in the Catskills of New York (right down the road from the home of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival) is where they lovingly roast the highest quality green beans in small batches to highlight the unique characteristics of each varietal.  The company is committed to Coffee with Integrity; meaning they source only Organic, Sustainably Farmed, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance & Water Processed green coffee beans, produced with respect for the environment and the farmers, and create opportunities through mindful support of local & global communities. We do the right things because they’re the right things to do.
