Joan Garry to Speak at Temple Ner Tamid Friday, August 18

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -  Joan Garry, a nationally recognized nonprofit consultant, will speak at Temple NerTamid Bloomfield on Friday August 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Garry will offer insights about the joy and privilege of volunteerism and philanthropy. Using her experience with clients as well as her role on the NBC reality show Give, she will connect her insights with the tradition of Tikkun Olum and place them in the context of a society anxious to play a role in repairing a fractured world.

The Erev Shabbat service, led by Cantor Meredith Greenberg, will begin at 6:30 pm. A light nosh will precede the service at 6 pm.
