EAST ORANGE, NJ - Some of northern New Jersey’s leaders along with a host of celebrities plan to join the Men of Essex organization at its 55th Annual Golf Classic.

The event will be played at the Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth on August 3. Registration and lunch begins at 11:00 and tee time is 1:00 p.m. 

The Golf Classic proceeds benefit the Men of Essex Student Aid Fund, which assists Essex County students achieve their higher education aspirations. The tournament is one of the nation's longest running sports benefit hosted by an African American charitable organization and has attracted the support of leading area corporations who have joined the Men of Essex as tournament co-sponsors.
