Maxey Design Studios in Montclair Named 2014 Architectural Design Firm of the Year

Montclair, NJ – Montclair’s own Maxey Hayse Design Studios, Inc. is named 2014 Architectural Design Firm of the year by the New Jersey Restaurant Association (NJRA). The nomination was made by the New Jersey Restaurant Association Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Chairman.

Maxey Hayse takes pride in being located in Montclair and also serving the local restaurant and hospitality industry. The award is to be presented at the Annual Robert B Connelly Golf Outing and Hall of Fame Awards dinner in September. We are honored to be nominated and to also become part of this prestigious group of award winners.

Established in 1942 the New Jersey Restaurant Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting restaurants  " The members of the NJRA celebrate the heritage of some of America’s most legendary restaurants and neighborhood eateries. About Maxey Hayse Design Studios, Inc.

Established in 1992, the firm's emphasis has been on restaurant and hospitality design. President, Susan Pitaccio has her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology located in NYC.

Ms. Pitaccio resides in Montclair and brought the firm to Montclair 5 years ago. Maxey Hayse and Susn Pitaccio are deeply immersed in Montclair’s thriving restaurant industry, school community, montclair culture, and the amazing MFF. One of the our most recent Montclair projects is the successful Scala Del Nonna restaurant on Church Street.

Maxey Hayse Design Studios takes pride in helping restaurant owners develop interior design concepts that transform their restaurant spaces into an environment that has a unified interior brand. NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Rutgers University Board of Governors today approved a 2.3 percent hike in tuition and fees, as well as increases for dorm rooms and meals, for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The increase now brings the annual cost for undergraduate students to $14,975, which is $337 more than this past school year.
