EAST ORANGE, NJ - Monday, Mayor Lester E. Taylor III and his wife Mrs. Bibi Taylor hosted their first Annual Golf Outing for the LT3 Foundation at East Orange’s newly renovated clubhouse, Par 440 Restaurant and Lounge in Short Hills.

The event was, by any definition, a grand success - evidenced by the testimony of several supporters we spoke to.  In attendance were first-time golfers, weekend duffers and consummate pros; all testifying to the “playability” of the course, the lavish accommodations, food and festivities.

Though still under slight construction, the clubhouse is a fabulous state-of-the-art facility. The dining area easily accommodated the 50-75 patrons that attended the outing. The venue has been “transformed into a great place to play a round of golf, network with friends and colleagues and support the mission of the LT3 Foundation”, boasted one of the LT3 faithful.

Even if your workplace is not unionized, you can thank our American labor unions for locking in higher standards ...
