Montclair Animal Shelter Hosts Cat Adoption Events at Petco Starting Nov. 28

MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Montclair Township Animal Shelter volunteers and staff have teamed up with Petco in West Orange to find homes for loving shelter cats. The area-wide campaign called Home Fur the Holidays is an initiative designed to spotlight the shelter’s cats that are up for adoption.

After the tremendous success of the shelter dog adoption events, the volunteers and staff will take up a satellite location during the cold weather months. The weekly adoption drive is set to take place at Petco in Essex Green Shopping Center, 495 Prospect Avenue, West Orange from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Black Friday (November 28) and the following Saturdays: December 6, December 13 and December 20.

In the season of giving, will you give your home to a shelter cat? Meyer, Moon Unit, Frances Bean, Doone and many other cuddly kitties look forward to having a Home Fur the Holidays!
