MONTCLAIR, NJ - Junior Devin Jones led Bloomfield Tech to a 62-53 win on the road against Montclair High School in the second round of the Essex County Tournament.

Both teams entered the locker room at a stalemate 27-27 after a competitive first half. Coming back to the third quarter, Montclair struggled to find rhythm against a tough Bloomfield defense.

After a series of turnovers, Montclair found themselves outscored 22-15 in the fourth quarter. Ivan McDaniel had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Montclair Coach Jerry Hill believed the result was a contrast of the squad's young age, "We missed some key shots at big moments, I think our inexperience showed at the last quarter".
