FREE ADMISSION TO HISTORIC HOUSE TOURS AND FAMILY DAY

Sunday, March 12 from 1 to 4 pm. Tours on the hour, last tour at 3. Come discover the many voices that have called the Crane House and Historic YWCA home. Hear the stories of Israel Crane, his family, their domestic servants both enslaved and free, the boarders who lived at the YWCA, and the women and girls from Montclair who socialized there.

Sunday, March 19 from 1 to 4 pm. At this month’s Family FUNday, Crafts from the Past, kids can create a tin-punched candleholder, corn husk creatures, and a woven potholder. They try their hands at writing with a quill pen and serve as “sous chefs” in the hearth kitchen. Busy hands needed to grind spices in the hearth! Tours are self-guided this day. Family membership gets you and all family members in free!
