MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Montclair High School football team has maintained their winning streak for another round, after pushing past East Orange on Saturday at Woodman Field, 38-30.

Montclair scored twice in the first quarter, showing East Orange early on that the Mounties came to win.

Daniel Webb was on fire with four touchdowns in the game, which helped push the Mounties into a win. Webb scored the first TD of the game in the first quarter with a 2-yard run. Elijah Robinson followed up with a touchdown on a 21-yard pass from Tarrin Earle.

East Orange had a rocky showing to start, but shot back with a score on a 90-yard kickoff return in the first quarter.

By the third quarter, with Montclair in the lead, East Orange's Christopher Wilson caught a 63-yard pass from Naseem White.

The fourth quarter was crunch time and both teams were closing in on the goal. Clearly they both came to win, but the Mounties would push through to victory.

Webb scored a touchdown on a 53-yard run. East Orange pushed back with two consecutive touchdowns by Najere Taylor and C.J. Wilson in the fourth quarter, but by then a comeback was too late and the Mounties rose to victory.
