Montclair PD Visits Kean University


UNION, NJ - Montclair Police Chief Todd Conforti and Lieutenant Tyrone Williams visited Kean University’s Criminal Justice Students on March 31, to discuss law-related topics.

The discussion covered a number of topics, including but not limited to Drugs, Alcohol, Criminal, Motor Vehicle, and Domestic Violence Laws, and the Juvenile Justice System.

Lieutenant Williams also informed them that he is Montclair Police Department’s Recruiting Officer for anyone that might be interested in becoming a police officer.

Chief Conforti and Lieutenant Williams took a picture with the students following the discussion.

FAIR LAWN, NJ - Students walked out of class for 17 minutes to show solidarity with Parkland, FL students and teachers killed on Feb. 14.

Asking for tougher gun laws, students held signs in protest of a lack of government action, in addition to victims from other school shootings.

YMCA Of Montclair: Passing of Carol Kearney, Longtime Employee

 MONTCLAIR, NJ-  A long time staff member of the YMCA Montclair has passed away. YMCA officials sent the following announcement to the community:
