Montclair Police Blotter: Multiple Vehicle Theft Suspects Arrested, Local Cleaners Burglarized, and More


MONTCLAIR, NJ - The following blotter was released by the Montclair Police Department on February 6, 2018.

02-01- 2018 - Mr. Wadvens Telisma (23yoa from East Orange, N.J.), Mr. Sebastien Diogene (24yoa from
Orange, N.J.), and Mr. Jaime Rouse (22yao from Orange, N.J.) were arrested and charged with Theft,
Burglary and Conspiracy in connection with the theft of a delivery vehicle on 01-23- 2018.
02-01- 2018 (N. Fullerton Avenue) Mr. Ibn Muhammad, 18yoa from Montclair, was arrested on an open
warrant out of The Essex County Sheriffs office.
02-02- 2018 (Claremont Avenue) Mr. Damon Abnathya, 39yoa from Montclair, was arrested and charged
with Burglary after being observed by officers attempting to break into vehicles on Claremont Avenue.

01-29- 2018 (High Street) Theft of a 2002 Nissan Altima which the owner had parked on the street.
01-30- 2018 (Gates Avenue) Theft of a purse from an unlocked motor vehicle.
01-31- 2018 (Hilltop Place) Theft of a Mercedes S550 from a residential driveway. The key fob had been
left inside this vehicle.
02-02- 2018 (Harrison Avenue) An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing reported taken.
02-04- 2018 (Lloyd Road) Attempted theft from a motor vehicle. The actor did not gain entry because
the vehicle was locked.
02-04- 2018 (Highland Avenue) Attempted theft from a motor vehicle. The actor did not gain entry
because the vehicle was locked.
02-04- 2018 (Draper Terrace) An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through, but nothing reported taken.
02-05- 2018 (Next Cleaners, North Fullerton Avenue) Burglary to a commercial establishment. A window
was smashed to gain entry. The cash register was taken in this incident containing approximately $90.

02-04- 2018 (Irving Street) A Toyota Sienna Minivan, reported stolen out of Linden, was recovered
