Montclair Police Department Sends Four of Its Own to Honor Slain Dallas Officers

DALLAS -- Four Honor Guard officers from the Montclair Police Department traveled to Dallas to represent the department in paying respects at funeral services held Tuesday and Wednesday for the five Dallas law enforcement officers slain by sniper fire on July 7.

“It is a very sad time for all those in law enforcement,” said Deputy Police Chief Tracy Frazzano.

Airfare was donated by JetBlue with additional donations for their travel to Dallas provided by the Montclair Neighborhood Development Corporation, the Fraternal Order of Police, Montclair PBA Local 53, Montclair Sentinels 16, Fred Randall of the Mindful Breath Foundation and PM AM corporation of Dallas.

“Our sympathy and condolences go out to the families, friends and communities of those who were killed and injured in Dallas. We at the Montclair Police Department stand with the Dallas Police and DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) community as they mourn the loss of their own,” Frazzano added.
