MONTCLAIR, NJ - On April 22, the Montclair Police Department partnered with Lycored, an international wellness organization, for Autism Awareness Month.
During the event township residents were able to register in Montclair Police Department’s “Take Me Home” registry. The registry assist the police department to promptly return/reunite township residents with special needs/disabilities home if they are separated from family or lost.
Additionally, giveaway items from Lycored and Montclair Police were plants, seedlings, bags, coloring books, badges, etc. Monetary donations were matched by Lycored, and will be presented to two local charities.
Chief Conforti and Deputy Chief Frazzano, were present with the Community Service Unit and Patrol Officers for the event.
