MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair police are searching for vandals responsible for slashing tires. Although it is not yet known whether the incidents are connected, three separate vehicles were reported to have tire slashings last week.
On November 4, between 12:00pm and 6:00pm, a white GMC Yukon was parked in the area of Valley Road and Claremont Avenue and was found to have three punctured tires. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Milano at 973-509-4719.
Then on Thursday, November 6, an Officer on patrol in the area of Alexander Court observed two vehicles with slashed tires. The vehicles described as a Mazda MX5 and a Chevy Pickup, were damaged sometime between Tuesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 6.
