Montclair Police Team Up with Local Group for Autism Awareness, April 22

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Lycored and the Montclair Police Department will be hosting a Take Me Home Registry Autism Awareness and Earth Day event on South Park Street between Bloomfield Avenue and Church Street on Saturday, April 22 from 12 p.m.-3 p.m.

In honor of Earth Day and National Autism Month, Orange, NJ based international wellness company, Lycored, will be bringing their Mobile Garden, to the Montclair Police Department "Take Me Home Registry" event.

The event goal is to raise awareness for autism while also encouraging people to think about their relationship with the earth and their community.

During the event, attendees will be invited to sign up with the "Take Me Home Registry", a database for people who may need special assistance if they are alone or in times of emergency, and tour the trailer. In addition to that, they can also enjoy one of the educational activity stations including the rosemary plant potting station, the coloring book station and the nature’s beauty stickers and temporary tattoos. Autism Awareness Puzzle pieces will also be available for purchase on site and Lycored will be matching the money raised to donate to an Autism charity.
