MONTCLAIR, NJ - The following letter was sent to parents of Montclair Public School students:
Dear Families and Caregivers:
Montclair Public Schools is pleased to announce the 2015 Weston Science Scholars Program.
The Weston Science Scholars Program, now in its 16th year, offers specially selected ninth, tenth and eleventh graders from Montclair High School the opportunity to learn science “by doing science.”
Thanks to Josh Weston, Lynn English and our partners at Montclair State University, the program recognizes our high achieving students with potential and passion in the area of science, mathematics and related fields. This scholars program will afford students the opportunity to work side-by-side with Ph.D. scientists (mentors) from Montclair State University in conducting actual research.
As you can imagine, we are so proud of this program, its rich history of excellence and grateful to Josh Weston for his continued support and service.
For all parents interested in this competitive program, additional information and applications are now available on line: http://www.montclair.edu/csam/weston-science-scholars/.
In addition, tonight, Thurs. Jan. 15, there will be an Open House available to all families at 7 pm at Montclair State University in Richardson Hall, Room 120.
If you need any further information please feel free to contact Lynn English email@example.com.
