MONTCLAIR, NJ - Samba Montclair will be celebrating their fourth anniversary with a free 'Thank You' dessert trio at dinner.
For two weeks only, January 26-29 and February 2-5, dinner guests will enjoy complimentary dessert as a special thank you from owner Ilson Goncalves and his team. "When I opened Samba, my dream was to present the food I grew up enjoying in my native Brazil," says Goncalves. "Our 'gift' to customers is a thank you to the community for their support. Restaurants come and go, I know, but Montclair has supported me for four years and I'm very grateful."
The featured dessert will be a trio of popular items from Samba's dessert menu:
Passion Fruit Mousse, Coconut Pudding with Prune Sauce and Chocolate Mousse.
Samba's cozy, rustic dining room and Brazillian cuisine is the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. Samba will serve its regular à la carte menu on Saturday, Feb. 14, along with several enticing dinner specials. Expect to see pomegranates on the menu; Brazilians believe they bring good luck when eaten this time of year.
On Thursday, Feb. 19, Samba will celebrate Carnival with live music, dancers, and lots of delicious specials. Guests are welcome to join Ilson and his team in masquerade costume as they go all out to celebrate the most famous festival in Brazil.
