Mountie Supporters Prepare for Big Game with White-Out Shirts

MONTCLAIR, NJ - On Saturday, Mountie fans will gather at Woodman Field for the first home football game of the season against Union City at 2 p.m. Promoted as the biggest Montclair football game of the season, alumni and fans have prepared for the game by purshasing white-out T-shirts at local retailers.  

In addition to being the first home game, this will be the second annual White-Out Football Game where supporters are asked to wear white Mountie T-shirts for solidarity. Perks come along with wearing the shirt, including free admission and discounts. 

If white-out shirts are worn at all home football games, then benefits include free admission to all regular season home games and VIP Entrance (No waiting), free appetizer anytime with purchase of entrée at The Office Restaurant for entire season and 10 percent off "any other" item in clothing store locations when you purchase white-out shirt, excluding Studio 042 printing.

Even the elected officials are getting into the spirit. While the mayor and council members show Mountie pride by rocking their white out T-shirts, Montclair High School (MHS) students have planned a pep rally for Friday before the big game. 

Official 2014 White-Out T-Shirts can be purchased at the following locations: Heratij, Hip Chic, Fleet Feet, All Lacrosse, Studio 042. Shirt Cost is $12.

Game Day Special Events include, Pre-Game special effects from "The BEAST," the newest mascot, Pre-Game special recognition of All Montclair Youth Football and Cheerleading Teams, Rita's Italian Ice will be in attendance sponsored by Hip Chic Boutique and a Post Game Party sponsored by The Office Restaurant - 20% of "All Food Sales" will be donated to MHS football.
