LIVINGSTON, NJ — The hallway of The Early School of Temple B’nai Abraham in Livingston was recently filled with the sounds of a melodious chorus of “thank yous” from the students and teachers as The Nancy and Robert Eskow Family Room was dedicated with an informal ribbon cutting. 

The Family Room/learning center, made possible by the generous support of Nancy and Robert Eskow, is replete with innovative activities and structures that encourage creativity, imagination, reading and math readiness, improved motor skills and cognitive learning. One of the unique components of this learning environment, designed for all ages and abilities, is a free-standing, two-story townhouse that boasts a first-floor kitchen and café as well as a second-floor living room and balcony, enhancing the students' power of play.

Among the learning zones is a sensory wall, chock-full of interactive manipulatives and wall games to increase motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
