MONTCLAIR, NJ – Kevin Durant of the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder visited Montclair to chop it up with a local business owner.

Footwear and apparel store Takeover, located at 404 Bloomfield Ave., received a special visit from Durant on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

He hung out with owner Phillip Bobbitt and took a few pictures before heading out. The visit was unexpected and Bobbitt was surprised, but expressed that the mutual friend he shares with Durant encouraged the visit to the store. Bobbitt said, “We share mutual friends who asked him to stop by and see me.”
