Montclair, NJ-  New Jersey Television station, NJTV has announced Mary Alice Williams as the new anchor of the weeknight news program. Williams is no stranger to television, though.  She has hosted many shows throughout her career.  Her experience includes being a former co-anchor with NBC, vice president of CNN, and she has also been filling in for Mike Schneider as anchor at NJTV.

Williams will be replacing Mike Schneider on July 1.  Schneider will stay on to serve as Senior Correspondent with the network.  " I could not pass the torch to a better colleague," said Schneider.   "I have been developing and get back to the field of reporting that I love," he continued.
