Nutley Dunkin Donuts Robbed at Gunpoint

NUTLEY, NJ - Nutley Police report that the Dunkin Donuts at 27 Park Avenue at River Road was robbed at gunpoint on the evening of January 23. 

According to the police, the employees reported that two masked men entered the location, one holding a gun. A customer was order to the corner while one of the intruders jumped over the counter and emptied the registers. 

The suspects are described as black males, one wearing all grey with black wool cap, the other slightly taller, wearing brown leather jacket with hoodie, and blue jeans.

Police Director Alphonse Petracco said the employees complied as they should and were not injured.

Chief Thomas Strumolo said that they fled by foot south on River Road. He stated that armed robberies are rare in Nutley, and are taken very seriously. The Nutley Police Department is actively investigating the incident and detectives are following all leads.
