MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair Schools Superintendent Ronald Bolandi has sent an announcement to parents stating that PARCC assessments are not available Wednesday.

NJ Department of Education officials announced that the halt was due to a computer glitch that affected schools statewide. It is not yet known whether or not testing will resume on Thursday.

The announcement is as follows:

"Dear Families:
We received notice within the past hour from both the NJ-Department of Education and from Pearson that PARCC digital assessments are not available today. Accordingly, the Montclair Public Schools will be cancelling all PARCC assessments today.

We will notify you as we work to reschedule these PARCC assessments.
We appreciate your understanding in this situation.
