MONTCLAIR, NJ - Bike & Walk Montclair will be hosting a four-ward bicycle tour of Montclair on Sunday, Sept. 27. The tour will be part of the OpenStreetsMTC events scheduled around Montclair that day.
The 12-mile group ride will pay homage to past “tours” by traversing each of Montclair’s four wards and visiting interesting landmarks, parks, and views along the way.
Interested participants are encouraged to meet the ride leader, check-in at 11 a.m. in Crane Park and be ready to hit the streets at 11:30.
Although the OpenStreetsMTC event will be closed to cars, the 4Ward Tour of Montclair will not. This is an unsupported group ride with no ride marshals, no sag wagons, and no closed streets. Participants will be sharing the streets with cars and are required to follow traffic rules to ride on the right, signal stops and turns, be safe, be predictable, and be courteous.
