Positive Parenting Kicks Off L3 Academy Parent Talk Series

On March 1, Shannon Meyer (M. Ed.) will kick off the L3 Academy Parenting Talk by discussing positive parenting connections and how to navigate the tricky and emotional waters of parenting. Topics include:

  • brain response to different stimulus
  • how to support and skill-build when your child is upset
  • the short- and long-term goals for children ‘
  • and much more.

Shannon Meyer (M. Ed.) is a credentialed teacher with experience working in impacted communities in the inner-city.  With training in Cognitive Coaching, Common Core education, Parenting Through Connection, and Positive Discipline, Shannon has become an Instructional Coach consulting with various districts and schools throughout the country.  Her passion is supporting parents and educators in seeing the whole child and how a deeper understanding of our kids helps everyone succeed (and be healthier and happier).
