MONTCLAIR, NJ - Montclair Township will be conducting a revaluation of all properties within the township as mandated by the Essex County Board of Taxation and the State of New Jersey.  The Township has contracted with Professional Property Appraisers, Inc. (PPA) to conduct the revaluation.

The Township of Montclair will host a Property Tax Revaluation informational presentation on Wednesday, March 8, 7:00 p.m. in the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 205 Claremont Avenue.

PPA will provide an informative presentation about all stages of the tax revaluation process – from initial assessment by a field inspector to procedures for discussing one’s valuation with a PPA representative. Company representatives will be on hand to answer questions from the public.

All information sessions are open to the public and property owners are encouraged to attend.
