MONTCLAIR, NJ - National Night Out will take place in Montclair tonight, August 7, 2018, from 5 to 8PM near the intersection of South Park and Church Street.

Hosted by the Montclair Police Department and community partners, the National Night Out annual event is a way for members of the community to come out and spend a safe evening with emergency personnel.

Both roadways will be closed for traffic.

Residents will be able to speak with law enforcement officers and other public service personnel from the township. Equipment first responders utilize on a daily basis will be open for exploration.

The Montclair Police Department, Montclair Fire Department, and Montclair Ambulance Unit will be on hand to speak with individuals and display their equipment. Additionally, numerous vendors, businesses, and organizations are participating in this community collaboration.

Safety brochures and other novelty items will also be available for all those interested.

Local shops and vendors are also invited to come out.
