NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Bloomfield's Mac-Adley Hyppolite Jr. ('Mac') presented a check for $2500 to Children's Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick this week. 'Mac' will be riding from New Jersey to Florida in May to raise additional funds for the hospital.

It is 'truly an honor to take a tour of the Children's Specialized Hospital with my brother Kieran and Nicole. said Mac. "Heartwarming experience to see how well the money is being used to bring more comfort to the children and their families. Today's check was not only presented by myself but from everyone who has donated to my gofundme page as well as shared the link."

An avid bike rider for the past four years, Mac is preparing for the road trip by riding 40 to 60 miles a daily.  He rides and considers himself the “average guy,” who can ride. “If I can ride my bike, then anyone can,” he said.

The Bloomfield Police Department will provide Mac with an escort as he leaves Bloomfield.

When he arrives in Fort Lauderdale at the end of May he will present another check there.

Anyone wishing to make a donation can do so at Biking From New Jersey to Florida on GoFundMe
