Please join AAngelsNJ for a "Spring fling for Pink" with the AAngels Day party fundraiser on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Bogie's Lounge, William Street, East Orange, NJ from 3 pm - 8 pm. All funds raised will be used for their 6th Annual High School Scholarships. AAngelsNJ awards 4 Essex County High School Seniors with a $1,000 book scholarship for college.  The scholarship requirements and application can be found and downloaded from their website www.aangelsnj.org

AAngelsNJ mission is to serve and provide resources to underserved and underinsured individuals and families. We are committed to educating and navigating them through issues surrounding Preventive Care, Pre- and Post- Breast Cancer diagnoses and all aspects of Breast Health.  Our vision is an end to Breast Cancer related deaths caused by late stage Breast Cancer diagnoses.

Former Jefferson School Staffer Facing Criminal Charges For Alleged Lewd Photos of Students

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - A former Jefferson Elementary School paraprofessional has been charged with criminal behavior believed to be related to lewd photos of students at the school that were found on his cell phone after he was arrested in Morris County on an unrelated sexual charge.

Three School Buses Involved in Crash at Clark's ALJ High School

CLARK, NJ - Three buses collided in the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot around noon on Thursday.   There were students on the buses at the time according to Police Chief Pedro Matos.

Assembly Democratic Bill to Ensure Safety of Special Needs Students on School Buses Clears Assembly Panel 

June 21, 2018

TRENTON, NJ – Legislation sponsored by Assembly Democrats Daniel Benson, Valerie Vainieri Huttle, Reed Gusciora, Ralph Caputo and Andrew Zwicker to protect special needs students who ride school buses was released Monday by an Assembly panel. 

This bill (A-4332) would establish a minimum ratio of school bus aides to special needs students on a school bus.
