MONTCLAIR, NJ - With the warmer weather upon us, the Montclair Department of Health and Human Services urges residents to be aware of the dangers of tick and mosquito-borne illnesses. A special presentation will take place on Thursday, June 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Montclair Public Library, First Floor Conference Room.
Join Rob Stone, CHES, for an informative session on how to prevent tick and mosquito-borne illnesses. In this class you will learn:
How to reduce exposure to tick and mosquito bites.
What a tick and mosquito-borne illness is.
Proper tick removal and disposal methods.
This program is intended for anyone who is interested in learning more about Lyme Disease, Zika Virus and methods to protect themselves from tick and mosquito bites.
