Vandals Strike Upper Montclair Business for 5th Time, Owner Says

UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ - Vandals struck an Upper Montclair business hours after a group of children painted over politically-themed graffiti. According to owner Hakika Dubose, the vandals struck sometime late Nov. 13 or early Nov. 14. 

The Power Stretch Studio building has been the subject of several politically themed graffiti attacks in recent weeks, as well as attempts to cover it. TAPinto broke the story Montclair Samaritans Paint 'Make America Love Again' Mural After Vandalism late Sunday afternoon. In the previous incidents, graffiti included 'Lock Her Up' and 'America Has Spoken.'

A group of children painted two murals Nov 13, one read 'Make America Love Again, the other featured a large heart. Dubose discovered that the heart was defaced with 'Make America Great Again' graffiti as she arrived to work Monday morning.

A police report was filed. This is the fifth police report made by Dubose regarding grafitti to her business.
