The walk will begin at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center, 240 Belleville Ave, Bloomfield, NJ

where we will enjoy some beautiful gardens.  Then Morris Canal Enthusiast, and Bloomfield Councilmen,

Rich Rockwell will lead us on this exciting walk along the Greenway while sharing some

fascinating facts as we make our way to the historic Collins House, which predates the building

of the Morris Canal.

You will also have an opportunity to try out the new Morris Canal Greenway App to track your path and fitness as you walk the trail.  Download the App before the walk!

Three School Buses Involved in Crash at Clark's ALJ High School

CLARK, NJ - Three buses collided in the Arthur L. Johnson High School parking lot around noon on Thursday.   There were students on the buses at the time according to Police Chief Pedro Matos.

Assembly Democratic Bill to Ensure Safety of Special Needs Students on School Buses Clears Assembly Panel 

June 21, 2018

TRENTON, NJ – Legislation sponsored by Assembly Democrats Daniel Benson, Valerie Vainieri Huttle, Reed Gusciora, Ralph Caputo and Andrew Zwicker to protect special needs students who ride school buses was released Monday by an Assembly panel. 

This bill (A-4332) would establish a minimum ratio of school bus aides to special needs students on a school bus.
