WinterFest 2015 North Jersey Coming to Outpost in the Burbs Jan. 10

MONTCLAIR, N.J. -- Outpost in the Burbs presents Light of Day WinterFest
2015 -North Jersey, featuring Garland Jeffreys, James Maddock, Joe D’Urso,
Steve Conte, and another guest to be announced, on Saturday, January 10th,
2015 at 8 p.m.
The Light of Day Foundation, raises funds and awareness in the fight
against Parkinson's disease and related diseases.

This show will take place in main sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalist
Congregation, 67 Church Street, Montclair.

Outpost in the Burbs
The Light of Day Foundation, Inc., utilizes the power of music to raise money and
awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinson’s disease and related
illnesses such as PSP and ALS within our lifetime. The Foundation’s mission is to
fund research into possible cures, improved treatments and support for patients
who suffer from those illnesses, their families and their caregivers to help
improve their quality of life. Gifts to the Light of Day Foundation, Inc. are taxdeductible
to the full extent of the Internal Revenue Code. The Light of Day
Foundation, Inc. is designated by the IRS as a not-for-profit 501(c) (3)

Light of Day - the concerts and the organization - grew from a birthday party and
fund-raiser held in 1998 at the Downtown Cafe in Red Bank to celebrate the 40th
birthday of artist manager and music industry veteran Bob Benjamin, who was
diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1996.
About The Outpost
The all-volunteer Outpost is a nonprofit outreach organization in Montclair
dedicated to building community through music, community service and cultural
events with a social, educational, intellectual or artistic bent. The Outpost has
presented more than 350 concerts by internationally known artists such as Judy
Collins, Roger McGuinn, Dave Mason, Jorma Kaukonen, Jimmy Webb, Richie
Havens, J.D. Souther and Dar Williams.
In addition to promoting and staffing concerts, Outpost volunteers have donated
more than 35,000 hours of their time through programs affiliated with Habitat for
Humanity, Toys for Tots, the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair, the
Community Food Bank of N.J., Dress for Success and the soup kitchen run
by Outpost volunteers at Christ Episcopal Church in East Orange.
