WOODLAND PARK, NJ - Cost Plus World Market has opened its doors at 1730 Route 46 west in Woodland Park, at the site of the former A&P supermarket in the West Falls Plaza, offering shoppers a wide mix of home items, food and beverages.
The store offers an array of furniture, decor, holiday items, curtains, rugs, lighting, gifts for all ages, greeting cards, coffee, wine, craft beer, and a foo marketplace offering many international food products.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for the store on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. In addition to the ribbon cutting the following special events are planned:
Thursday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 17:
- Free tastings and live entertainment 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
- Daily raffle drawings - prizes include two $250 World Market gift cards each day
- Free tote bags for the first 100 customers in the door each day
Saturday, Sept. 16 and Sunday, Sept. 17:
- Spend $40 in one transaction and get two free movie certificates, while supplies last (limited to the first 250 customers each day)
Cost Plus World Market is a chain of specialty/import stores founded in the late 1950s. The company has been a subsidiary of Bed Bath & Beyond since 2012. There are 277 stores in 35 states. Other New Jersey locations include Paramus, Livingston and Shrewsbury.
The Woodland Park store hours will be Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
