The Montclair Women’s Club  is preparing for an exciting year of events as we enter our 103rd year serving the Montclair area.  On Wednesday September 27th at 7pm, we will be hosting an Open House with a free workshop to follow at 7:30pm, Women in Transition:  Accessing Your Innate Wisdom by Beth Taylor Hart. Our Open House, to be held at our 82 Union Street clubhouse, is an opportunity for members of the community to learn about the Montclair Women’s Club, with information available for prospective new members.

Founder of The Insight Project, Ms. Hart will explore how we can tap our inner reliance to find clarity, peace, resilience, and joy through wisdom latent within.  In addition to leading workshop for various individuals and community groups, Ms. Hart has authored the upcoming book Hidden In Plain Sight:  The Truth About Your Life.  Ms. Hart has also enjoyed a vibrant career in the arts and arts management, including being one of the founders of the Montclair Film Festival, now in its 6th year.

The topic Ms. Hart was invited to speak on, “Women in Transition,” has resonated with many Montclair Women’s Club members as many have transitioned into or out of careers, transitioned in their family/spousal relationships, or transitioned to becoming an empty nester (or near empty nester) in addition to other life transitions. The Montclair Women’s Club has been an important source of community, enrichment, support and nourishment to this generation of women as it has  been to those who have gone before us.

Ironically, although what Ms. Tingle wrote is likely ...
