Cedar Grove Historical Society Pumpkin and Apple Sale

The Cedar Grove Historical Society will hold its annual Pumpkin/Apple Sale on October 5,6,12 and 13. All size pumpkins and several varieties of apples will be available as well as bay hales, corn stalks, mums, gourds, cider and baked goods.  Our indoor farm market will also be open during the sale where you can purchase organic vegetables, honey, granola, handmade cutting boards, local history books and much, much more.  Take pictures with our charcter cutouts and enter the "Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin Contest"  and take a tour of the Morgan Museum whicb will be open from noon until 4 p.m. each day.On Sataturday October 12 we will have a petting zoo and pony rides from 1 until 4 p.m.

1,500 Pounds of Apples Delivered to Newark Central High School

NEWARK, NJ - State Sen. M. Teresa Ruiz led a donation on Monday dropping off 1,500 pounds of apples gleaned from an East Brunswick orchard to Newark Central High School.
