METC hosting Travelers and Taverns: An Evening of Libations and Lore

Taverns and Travelers: An Evening of Libations and Lore will feature food from the Stage House Inn & Tavern in Scotch Plains and ale from Twin Elephant Brewing Company in Chatham, N.J. On hand to talk about early stagecoach stops will be local historian George Pierson. Tavern games such as checkers and backgammon will be available and guests are welcome to view the vintage games in the METC collection.

Cost is $50 per person; $40 for members which includes all food and drink as well as access to the museum collections.  Guests must be 21 years or older. Registration can be found on the Museum’s website, www.metc.org or by clicking here.
