OWL (Our Whole Lives) Sexuality Education for Adults

Sex education isn’t just for children and teens -- there’s always more to learn and explore. Join Melanie Davis, PhD and Tuli Patel, PhD on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM in the Peierls Room at UUCM for an introductory workshop from Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education for Adults ages 36-49. If sufficient interest exists for Older Adults ages 50+, that curriculum will be offered later in the year. At the end of the program, participants will determine whether and how many additional workshops will be offered.


Dr. Melanie Davis is the UUA’s Our Whole Lives Program Associate, and she is a Certified Sexuality Educator and Supervisor through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. She teaches human sexuality courses at Moravian Theological Seminary, Moravian College, and Widener University, and she is the co-president of the Sexuality and Aging Consortium. Melanie is a member of the UU Congregation of Somerset Hills in central New Jersey.

Tuli Patel, PhD is the Executive Director at Beacon UU Congregation in Summit. Tuli began her work with the Congregation in 2004 as Director of Religious Education and in 2014, Tuli took on the role as Executive Director.
