"Palliative Care and Pain Management for Alzheimer's and Dementia Patients"

Featured Speaker: Dr. Francine Hoh

Dr. Hoh, PHD, APN, ACHPN, APPMN ia dedicated to serving the community as an independent palliative provider.  Dr. Hoh has practiced in the areas of pain management and palliative care since 1996.  In 2016, she received the Geriatric Nurse Exemplar Award from the American Society of Pain Management Nursing.

Dr. Hoh is the CEO/Founder of Always Think Comfort which is a palliative care and pain management consulting practice.

Participants attending will start off with an Ice Breaker Game and will learn about the following:

  • Pain Management
  • Palliative Care versus Hospice
  • Advance Directives and the National POLST (Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) form importance
  • How not to be afraid to PREPARE your family for death of a loved one
