Against the backdrop of 1920s New York, wizard Newt Scamander has just finished documenting magical creatures across the globe. Upon his arrival in the states for a brief visit, he might have come and gone without incident...were it not for a mishap with a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob. This encounter leads to a missing magical case, fantastic beasts on the loose, and plenty of trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
