The Maplewood Strollers Present An Evening of Line Dancing

Join the Strollers for the second in a series of fantastic fundraisers:  a back-to-the-honky-tonk evening of line dancing to an eclectic mix of Western and other popular music. Admission is $10 per person. A professional instructor will be on hand to demonstrate moves. The event will take place on Saturday, September 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the community room of the Burgdorff Center for Performing Arts, 10 Durand Road in Maplewood. Tickets will be available at the door, cash only. Refreshments will also be available for purchase.

Home Invasion and Sexual Assault Under Investigation in Maplewood; Suspect At Large

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - The Essex County Prosector's Office Special Victims Unit and the Maplewood Police Department are investigating the home invasion and sexual assault of a woman on Tuesday in Maplewood, according to a press release on Wednesday from Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Maplewood Police Chief Police Chief Jim DeVaul.
