MONTCLAIR, NJ - Best-selling author Dani Shapiro will talk with Deborah Davis about her gripping memoir Inheritance and the meaning of parenthood and family identity during the Montclair Literary Festival event on December 10.
In the spring of 2016, via a DNA test, Dani received the stunning news that her father was not her biological father.
At this event Dani will explore the ethical questions surrounding fertility treatments and DNA testing, as well as paternity, identity, and love.
Doors will open at 6pm for the cocktail hour, and the talk will start at 7pm. Hor d'oeuvres and light fare will be available to all as well as a cash bar. Tickets cost $45 and include a hardback copy of the book, light buffet meal, and author talk. Dani will sign books at the end of the talk.
This talk is presented by Succeed2gether's Montclair Literary Festival. The fourth annual festival will take place from March 25 to 29, 2020.
